a little bit of background

I am the oldest of six children, which explains my need to be in charge. I was born in Las Vegas, NV, grew up in a small town in Texas, near Dallas and then attended BYU. (Although I did not graduate, I do plan on completing my degree through BYU within the next 2 yrs online or back in the classroom). I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint in the California, Arcadia Mission. I absolutely loved it! Shortly after returning home, I got married and had 4 very special spirits in which I am to blessed to be the mother of. Marriage isn't always what we may imagine it to be but I do believe it is ordained of God and when 2 people are committed there is nothing they can't overcome . I wish I could say mine was one in which we were able to overcome all but sadly it has met it's end. However my greatest joy is in being a mom. Carissa (8), Daniel (7), Ariana (6), and Austin (3) are my most precious treasures. For them I hope to be the best I can and live so that they may know my life is a reflection of what I believe. When I return home to that God who gave me life I hope that others and most especially my children might say of me that I I was truly an example of my name.
